Mission
About Me
The Stone County Community Cat Society is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, specifically to provide spay/neuter services for free-roaming community cats, and to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering for population and disease control.
We are a Mississippi registered nonprofit and a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and our Federal
EIN is 82-3917236. We also
support care for
abandoned cats
as needed.
The mission of the Stone County Community Cat Society is to trap, spay/neuter, and release free-roaming cats in the Stone County area of south mississippi for cat population and disease control.
Community Cats
Spay/Neuter Policy
The spay/neuter vouchers of the Stone County Community Cat Society are provided exclusively for free-roaming community cats. These cats do not have to be feral, but they must be free roaming and not owned by any person exclusively. A person may freely feed the cats, pet them, and care for them. Each cat gets a spay/neuter, a rabies shot and a
notched ear.
